Durgo Rawhoshyo- Movie Review

Friendly Review: Durgo Rawhoshyo

I understand your disappointment with the portrayal of the characters in the movie. It seems like they have deviated from their original traits. However, the cinematography and visuals are still enjoyable considering the budget.

I agree, a detective movie should have suspense to engage the audience from the beginning. It’s unfortunate that the first half was boring and lacked that element.

As for the Bengali pronunciation, it’s important for the actors to accurately represent the language. It can be frustrating when it’s not done well.

Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s stories are usually dark and gripping, and it’s disappointing when a movie adaptation doesn’t capture that essence. It seems like the director went overboard with too many elements, like poetry and dialogue, which took away from the thrilling atmosphere. The pacing and character portrayal also fell short, making it hard to connect with the story. It’s frustrating when the acting and dubbing don’t live up to expectations, especially from actors you had hope for. The screenplay and dialogues should have been better researched and executed. Overall, it sounds like the film didn’t do justice to the source material. Don’t worry, there are plenty of other great movies out there that might capture your interest!
