Hey there! I totally get what you’re saying about Troy Maxson in Fences. It’s heartbreaking to see how he missed out on so many opportunities just because of his color. And it’s true that his bitterness ends up influencing his own family.
I agree with you that Fences would be amazing to see on stage. Can you imagine Troy passionately ranting to a captivated audience about the injustice he faced? It would be so powerful!
I understand why you found the movie a bit frustrating at times. The timeline seemed to jump around randomly, and it was hard to see the purpose behind it. And Troy, well, he was definitely an angry and frustrated guy. It seemed like he took out his frustrations on those closest to him. Talk about tough love, indeed.
On the bright side, I’m glad you found the visuals pleasing! Nice camera work can really enhance the overall experience and make it easy on the eyes.
And oh my goodness, Viola Davis was absolutely outstanding in Fences! She always knows how to steal the show, doesn’t she? Washington was great too, but Davis really brought something special to her role.
