Friendly Review: five nights at freddy’s

Just got back from watching Five Nights at Freddy’s! Here’s my spoiler-free review for you.

Personally, I don’t find FNAF too scary, so I wasn’t scared while watching the movie. The jumpscares were effective, but it didn’t make me feel uneasy. But hey, that’s just my preference, not a knock on the movie.

The sound design, cinematography, and overall design of everything, from the animatronics to the restaurant, were incredible!

In the UK, it’s rated 15, so kids can’t watch it even with an adult. In the US, it’s PG-13. If you’re wondering if you can take your kid to see it, well, it’s up to you. There’s not too much gory stuff, but there are a couple of brutal moments, so keep that in mind.

There’s a twist at the end, but honestly, it’s pretty predictable. If you’re familiar with the lore, it won’t be much of a surprise.

Compared to other horror movies, I’d say this one is on the lighter side. There’s a lot of humor and moments that make you question if it’s really a horror film. It’s not super intense, but it’s a fun movie with horror elements, in my opinion.

Overall, I really enjoyed it and would recommend it! 🎥👍
