Friendly Review : Ratham

The movie, you know, it’s okay, not something mind-blowing, but definitely worth a watch. The idea behind it, though, now that’s what really caught my attention. It’s fantastic and so realistic. It really makes you think about how caste-based and religion-based violence can be ignited. You know, some people, they go and provoke others, just to start all that chaos. It’s crazy to think that even the murderer can be a victim in all of this, especially those young energetic youth. The concept is truly great.

Now, I gotta be honest, the second half of the movie did drag a bit, but hey, overall it’s still alright. The idea behind it, though, that’s where the real magic lies. Although, I did notice a few scenes that felt like they could’ve been part of a spoof scene in one of those usual CS Amuthan movies, you know what I mean? And those horse riding scenes, they were a bit over the top and not really interesting.

But hey, there were a couple of places where the usual CS Amuthan comedy scenes had me laughing. Just wish there were more of those, you know? I was expecting a bit more comedy.

All in all, it’s a decent movie with a great idea. So, if you’re up for some thought-provoking stuff and don’t mind a few exaggerated scenes, give it a go!

Although, I do agree that the music could have been more in sync with the intense moments. It’s a bit disappointing, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

What I loved most about this film is how it keeps you on the edge of your seat. It explores the idea of how easily people can be deceived and forced into bad situations. It’s not just a fictional concept; it really makes you reflect on how this happens in real life too.
