“This Korean black comedy directed by Park Hoon-jung is like a Hollywood-style gem! The standout element is the character of the nobleman, who’s known as the ‘PRO.’ He’s a sadistic killer with a comedic side, always cracking jokes, grinning, smirking, and even whistling. The plot is easy to follow, although the slow-paced intro might bore those not accustomed to the director’s style. But fear not, it builds up really well in the second phase! The movie also tackles the issue of Kopino, people of mixed Korean-Philippine heritage, and the hardships they face when Korean fathers abandon them without support. With solid characters, a desperate protagonist, a double agent lady, a bad conglomerate, a comically hitman, witty dialogue, thrilling chase scenes, blood, guns, and lots of cars, this movie truly has it all! It’s a ‘professional’ package of entertainment! 😄🎬”
Wow, you lucked out big time, winning tickets to a sneak preview! 🍀 And it’s awesome that you’re a fan of Kim Seon Ho too, that must have added to the excitement! Going in with no expectations can sometimes lead to the best surprises, right? That twist ending must have caught you off guard! 😮 Who knew it was going to be a dark comedy? Those hilarious moments that had the whole cinema laughing sound like a blast! And kudos to the cast for their stellar acting. It’s great that the pacing felt just right, not too slow or rushed. Even though some said the first part was redundant, you felt it built up nicely to that thrilling climax. Sounds like you had a fantastic time, and the positive buzz from others walking out of the cinema is always a good sign! I’m definitely adding this one to my watchlist. Thanks for the recommendation! 👍🏻
